Best possible working conditions will be provided for around 1,100 accredited photographers expected to cover the Beijing Olympic Games.

To ensure that the accredited photographers perform their job at their best, the following facilities and services will be available:

- Well-placed photo positions at competition venues, meeting photographers' needs for clear and unimpeded view of field of play and competing athletes.

- A well-equipped Photo Workroom is to be provided next to the KODAK Image Centre in MPC. There are Photo Workrooms in the VMCs with necessary facilities.

- A Film/Disk Transport System will operate between the VMCs and the MPC, with full consideration of the rapid development of digital photography.

- Photo vests will be distributed during photographers' registration at the Photo Manager Office at the MPC.

KODAK, the Official Image Sponsor of the Beijing Games, will operate the Main Photo Laboratory at the MPC in order to ensure high quality digital imaging, film processing and other services for the accredited photographers. Canon and Nikon will be present at the MPC as the sponsor's guests for providing camera and lens repair services and photo equipment loans.
