PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS FOR SOLICITING LANDSCAPE DESIGN SCHEMES OF THE OLYMPIC FOREST PARK AND THE CENTRAL ZONE

As entrusted by Beijing Municipal Government, Beijing Municipal Planning CommissionChangyang District Government and Beijing Landscape Bureau will jointly organize the soliciting landscape design schemes of the Olympic Forest Park and the Central Zone, and intend to invite worldwide excellent design companies, firms or joint ventures fully experienced in municipal planning, landscape planning, and environmental protection engineering to prequalify for submitting the landscape design schemes of the Olympic Forest Park and the Central Zone in Beijing. This prequalification is intended to select 8 independent participants or joint ventures to submit the landscape design schemes of the Olympic Forest Park and its Central Zone.

An Applicant interested in the soliciting shall submit three copies of Application for Prequalification, in one original and two copies, including an application letter and qualification information attached thereto and shall send the Application for Prequalification by fax before 16:00 on 2nd August 2003, to the Fax number and person as follows:

Any late application will not be accepted.

Applications shall be written in Chinese and English. Supporting documents and printed literature furnished by the Applicant may be in another language provided they are accompanied by accurate English and Chinese translations.

Applications shall be substantially responsive to all questions raised in the "Information Requested of Applicants" attached hereto. Each page of the application, in both Chinese and English, shall be initialed by the legal representative of the Applicant or his authorized agent, and, if initialed by his authorized agent, a written Power-of-Attorney of legal validity shall be provided. The Applicant shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his application for prequalification.
