(BEIJING, July 20) -- The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad is pleased to announce that 470 medical personnel have received recurrent training for the upcoming Good Luck Beijing Olympic test events.
The training course was created to strengthen the professional skills of medical technicians for the forthcoming August and September pre-Olympic test events.
Experts and medical officials presented lectures regarding the overall operation plan; information systems; doping controls; International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions and diplomatic protocols used during each Olympiad.
Medical staff also exchanged ideas and shared past experiences at major events.
Some commented that the training course helped identify their responsibilities and familiarize themselves with the working procedures used during the Olympic Games.
