(BEIJING, July 23) -- VISA International, a worldwide Olympic partner, has launched a new program to engage more stores and tourist sites to take VISA debit and Visa credit cards during the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics thus providing immediate electronic payment service to domestic and international tourists.

Supported by the Beijing Tourism Administration, a selection of the best Olympic designated stores was launched on July 23 here in the Olympic City.

It is estimated that some seven million people will flood into Beijing and surrounding areas during the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, including some 500,000 from around the globe.
