(BEIJING, July 27) -- A landscape monitoring mechanism was introduced for the first time into an engineering project for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
The quality monitoring station -- established on June 18, 2006 -- is currently responsible for 36 landscape engineering projects under construction at the Olympic Green, the central complex area including the Olympic Village and varied Olympic venues.
There are 76 Olympic landscape engineering projects scattered in 10 districts throughout the Olympic City and another 12 landscape systems are expected to be on line soon.
