TOKUSHIMA, Japan, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- China beat Indonesia 102-47 here on Wednesday to top the group H of the 2007 Asia men's basketball Championship.

Defending champion China, who finished bottom in the first round with three losses against no wins, had to play for the ninth place of the tournament.

Yi Li scored 23 points as China led all the way for the victory, Gu Liye had 16 points while Chen Chen 13.

Julius Faisal was the only player of Indonesia to score more than 10, he had 13 points, Ekayana Andrie had seven.

After first round matches, 16 teams are competing in four groups in the second round with top two finisher of Group E and F qualifying for the semi-finals.
