(BEIJING, July 31) -- Volunteers for the Good Luck Beijing sport events in the next three months have been selected and their enrollment is being processed, according to the organizers.

A total of 15,000 volunteers for the events will be needed. They mainly come from the applicants for Games-time volunteers.

Training is a must for any volunteer. So far over 50,000 people have undergone the general training, while another 20,000 received a professional training.

Under the arrangement of the management teams of the Good Luck Beijing sport events, venue and position training is under way. Each volunteer is required to undergo at least four days of training.

Only those who have passed the exams and received the certificates can be assigned to their posts.
