(BEIJING, July 25) -- A skill competition is held recently in the Beijing Post among the staff engaged in international postal services.

Aimed at enhancing the staff training, raising the quality level of international business, selecting and preparing capable personnel for the approaching Olympics, the competition has set various items testing the occupational competence of the participants.

It is reported that the activity is an important part of the celebration for the annual countdown to the 2008 Olympics within Beijing's postal system.

3000 employees from 15 local post offices participated the competition.
