(BEIJING, November 9) -- In a bid to guarantee the fire-fighting system during the Games, local administrations in Beijing have been actively establishing a Games-time communication network for the fire-fighting communication and command system.

The system, supported by the 1-1-9 fire alarm platform, is integrated with Olympic and temperate firehouse terminals, Olympic venue fire command posts, and on-site forces.

The system is responsible for the fire-fighting communication command, information analysis, and technique control of all fire-fighting forces at the Olympic venues and non-competition venues during the Games.

The newly upgraded Beijing 119 fire alarm platform and other emergency control systems of the city (110, 120, 122) have been packed into a synthesized system for emergency service for the security of local citizens.
